What do you love most about your job?

The unpredictability. Every client case is unique, even if the end recommendation is the same, the journey is different.

What’s your role at Caple Banks and what does a typical day look like for you?

I work as a Trainee Paraplanner. A typical day for me involves numerous tasks, such as analysing a client’s portfolio and income and expenditure in preparation for an adviser’s annual review meeting, or completing research for a potential recommendation.

What skills or strengths do you bring to the team?

I feel, as a team, the skill we collectively have is effective communication, which improves productivity. As an individual and having previously worked in administration, I try to offer assistance as an ‘anchor’ between the two teams, as they work hand in hand in providing the best end product for the client.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I like to keep active and consider myself quite sporty, whether that be running or playing tennis socially. I have played tennis from a very young age, more competitively when I was younger and I still coach in the local community from time to time.

What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you?

I have 7 dogs, which keep me and my family very busy!
